The glass tower BTS's success built. ARMY gather outside for comebacks and birthdays, and the surrounding 'Yongridan-gil' alleys have grown a whole ecosystem of fan cafés and cup-sleeve events.
Exterior only - the lobby is closed and the HYBE Insight museum shut in 2023. Near Sinyongsan Station; pair it with the National Museum, a 15-minute walk.
Seoul · Trainee → debut
The cramped Gangnam office of the 'No More Dream' days, where seven trainees shared one dorm and one dream. Its walls are covered in marker messages from ARMY across the world - the most emotional wall in K-pop.
A working building on a quiet street: bring a marker, keep your voice down. Nearest stations Sinsa or Hakdong.
Seoul · Trainee era
The ssambap restaurant where trainee-era BTS ate after practice, a short walk from the old BigHit building. The interior is lined with signed posters and fan notes; the members still mention it fondly.
Order food - it's a working restaurant, not a museum. Combine with the old BigHit wall in one Nonhyeon-dong walk.
Seoul · Love Yourself / Speak Yourself
BTS's home stadium ground: Love Yourself opened here in 2018 and Speak Yourself: The Final closed here in 2019 - the bookends of the era that took them from Seoul to the world's stadiums.
Under renovation until late 2026 and Jamsil Arena next door faces demolition - check status before you go. Sports Complex Station, Line 2.
Seoul · Borahae moments
The bridge Seoul lights purple when it wants to say 'Borahae' back - lit for the 10th anniversary in 2023 and again for the 2026 comeback, its fountain running BTS-themed shows over the Han.
Free, from Banpo Hangang Park. The purple lightings are event-based - time a visit to FESTA in June or a comeback week.
Seoul · Dynamite era
Where BTS performed 'IDOL', 'Mikrokosmos' and 'Dynamite' in hanbok for The Tonight Show in 2020 - one of the most-replayed stages of the pandemic era, palace and group presented to the world together.

Seoul · Dear Class of 2020
The plaza and steps of the 'Dear Class of 2020' graduation performance. On Seoul's official BTS map with 'Boy With Luv' as its theme - and a fifteen-minute walk from HYBE HQ, so the two make one pilgrimage leg.
Free general admission; Ichon Station. Do the museum, then walk to HYBE.
Yangju · Spring Day
The snowy rural platform where V waits for the train in the opening of 'Spring Day'. Closed to passengers since 2004; the station building was torn down in late 2024. The rail bed and the quiet winter fields that framed the scene remain.
The station was demolished in November 2024. The ground where the scene was shot remains, and so does the stamp.
The structure is gone - what you visit now is the place, not the platform. ~40 minutes by taxi from northwest Seoul, or Bus 360 from Bulgwang Station. Stay off any active track.
Gangneung · You Never Walk Alone
The lonely seaside bus stop from the You Never Walk Alone cover. The original prop came down after the shoot - Gangneung rebuilt it permanently for the fans who kept coming, and added Jin's bench nearby. The single most iconic BTS pilgrimage photo in Korea.
KTX to Gangneung (~2h from Seoul), then a local bus or ~30-minute taxi north to Jumunjin. Expect a queue for the photo in summer.
Samcheok · Butter
The beach-umbrella-and-deck-chairs set of the 'Butter' concept photos, shot on this quiet East Sea beach. Samcheok removed its recreated photo props in early 2024 amid an IP dispute - the beach itself, and the shoreline BTS stood on, are unchanged.
The Butter photo props were removed by the city in January 2024. The beach and the shoreline from the shoot are unchanged, and the stamp still counts.
Best by car or taxi from Samcheok; pair it with the Hyangho Beach bus stop for one East Coast day. Come for the sea, not for props.
Jecheon · Young Forever
The abandoned airstrip where all seven walk the runway in 'EPILOGUE: Young Forever' - one of the group's most enduring images. Now a public park whose flower fields bloom over the old runway.
Free public park; easiest by car or a day tour from Seoul, often paired with Cheongpung Lake.
Goyang · Roots
RM's Ilsan, in his own lyrics: 'I like Lake Park more than the Han River.' One of Asia's largest artificial lakes and an ordinary, beautiful neighborhood park - which is the point. In 2026 the Arirang tour opened in Goyang, bringing the fandom to his doorstep.
No fan installations - this one is lyrics-in-your-headphones. Jeongbalsan Station, Line 3.
Busan · Roots
In the hillside village they call the Machu Picchu of Busan, a mural of Busan's own Jimin and Jungkook holding roses has become the anchor of the ARMY pilgrimage south - five minutes from the entrance, usually paired with the Little Prince overlook.
Toseong Station, then the village minibus. It's a lived-in neighborhood - keep noise down.
Busan · Family
The café Jimin's father opened, which draws international ARMY to an untouristed corner of Busan. It renamed from MAGNATE after a trademark squatter took the old name - the family kept pouring coffee.
Search map apps for 'ZM-illennial' - the nearby 'Magnate'-branded storefront is an unrelated copycat. Buy a drink; don't camp.
Busan · Roots
The colorful hillside neighborhood where Jungkook grew up, now dotted with murals of him - the quieter, more local half of the Busan roots pilgrimage.
Line 3 to the Mandeok area, then a short bus or taxi uphill. Residential - same etiquette as Gamcheon.
Busan · Yet To Come in Busan
'Yet to Come in Busan', October 2022: the free concert for 50,000 that became the last full-group show before enlistments, streamed to tens of millions. In 2026 the city welcomed ARMY back for the Busan leg of the reunion.

Daegu · Roots
A whole street of V murals and portrait panels, funded by fans, running along the wall of his elementary school in western Daegu - the anchor of every V hometown tour, often paired with Dalseong Park where young Taehyung played.
The school is active: photograph the street, never enter the grounds. Simplest by taxi from Daegu Station.
Daegu · Agust D roots
'I ran wild in Namsan-dong' - the musical-instrument street where teenage Suga wrote and studied, the root of the D-town identity in his verses. Fans pair it with his old music academy and flat dumplings at Seomun Market.
Public streets near Banwoldang Station; the academy is exterior-photos only.
Gwangju · Hope World
J-Hope's hometown tribute street. The 'Hope World' monument at its center was built by a fan project and holds 21,800 messages of love from ARMY worldwide - a purpose-built monument to one member, in his own city.
Free, downtown in the Chungjang-ro area. Deep-cut tour: add the Yangnim-dong Penguin Village J-Hope murals across town.
London · Speak Yourself
June 2019: the first Korean act ever to headline Wembley, sold out in ninety minutes, 114,583 over two nights. For ARMY it is simply 'we made it to Wembley.'

Los Angeles · Speak Yourself
The Speak Yourself openers, May 2019 - first Asian act to sell out the Rose Bowl, and still the highest-grossing engagement in the venue's history.
The grounds and loop are walkable most days; periodic public tours. Best by car.
Los Angeles · PTD on Stage LA
Permission to Dance on Stage LA, late 2021 - the first in-person BTS shows since 2019, the pandemic-reunion nights ARMY still talks about in the present tense.
Paid stadium tours available; the Hollywood Park district around it is open to walk.
Las Vegas · PTD On Stage, Las Vegas
Four sold-out nights in April 2022 that closed the PTD tour - the city rebranded itself 'Borahaegas', lit the Strip and its fountains purple, and set the template for every BTS city-takeover since.
