Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Your account (email, display name, sign-in via our auth provider), and what you do in Senda: the artists you follow, Ways you begin, stamps you earn, reflections and guestbook lines you write, games you play, plans you save, and preferences like your home airport and language.

We also ask your date of birth when you create the account. Senda is for people 13 and over, and talking to the AI companion is for 16 and over. We keep the date rather than a yes-or-no answer for one reason: an answer would lock out a 15-year-old forever, and a date lets the companion open by itself on the right birthday.

2. Location

When you catch a stamp, your device sends your current coordinates once so we can check you are near the stop. We use them for that check and store only the result - which stop, and when. We do not store your coordinates, track your location in the background, or build a movement history.

3. Chatting with the companion

The companion characters are AI. When you send one a message, that message and the last few turns of the conversation go to our model provider to generate the reply. We do not send your name, your email, or your GPS coordinates. We do send a short summary of your journey so the reply is about you and not about nobody: the artists you follow, your points and streak, and, when you have set them, the home city you chose and the city and venue of your next show. That is the city you typed and a show anyone can look up, never where your phone is. We do not keep the conversation after you close the chat. Before the model is called, the message is checked for language about self-harm, which is answered by a fixed handoff instead of by the model. 4. What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers. Booking and ticket links take you to third parties; what you do on their sites is governed by their privacy policies. Our hosting and infrastructure providers (for example Cloudflare and our auth/database provider) process data on our behalf to run the service.

5. What others can see

Guestbook lines you leave at a stop are shown publicly at that stop with your handle. Squad members can see the plans and votes you share with the squad. Your reflections are private to your account. Certificates are private unless you choose to share a screenshot.

6. Your choices

You can edit your display name, change your home airport, or stop following artists at any time. To delete your account and its data, contact us and we will remove it. Cookie use is limited to what the service needs to work (session, language, and door preference); we do not use third-party advertising cookies.
